Many of the dramatis prersonae are described in this post.
Primus 1395
Despite rumors to the contrary - and even Sir Albrecht's direct statements to Abraham - Kozel and Stavros were not called to Lychgate in December. It is likely this is because of recent military maneuvers occupying the Bishop's time, though it could be that he changed his mind altogether.
Sir Albrecht himself has been absent from Nightwick Village much of these last few months. First he went south with a troop of Badder's Boys to help fight against the Yimsleian rebellion. He returned in Unodecember, after the combined forces of the Bishop were able to string up rebels along the Long Road from Road's End to Knightpath. It is said they nailed a hunter's cap to the skull of each victim. The force he returned to the village with seemed bolstered by men from Blackleg.
They did not stay in the village long, and in Duodecember headed north to Lychgate. It seems the White Lady has descended upon the area north of the village with an army of pig-men, groans, and elves. Riders from Albrecht have informed the Howling Kommandos that Bishop Notker himself leads his forces in the field and the two armies now sit opposite each other, ready for battle.
